Ben Gosman has over 20 years of experience as an Event Organiser and has chaired several trade and professional organisations dedicated to live communication. He is an Event Marketing Consultant and organises a range of events and incentives in the Netherlands and abroad. Author of Cavemen Never Do Business, a book about the role of events and live communication in our lives, Ben has been invited to a number of universities and academies to lecture on the ways face-to-face meetings impact on our personal and professional interactions.

David Bodor leads ICCA’s recruitment and retention work in Europe and is responsible for the approximately 500 members that the association has in Europe. He sees himself as a key driver of change and seeks to help, inspire and benefit others by creating synergetic value through knowledge sharing and a customer-centric approach. David draws on a decade of experience in the field of destination marketing, where he has held strategic and operational management positions. Prior to that he has worked in various positions in advertising, entertainment and business. David holds a degree in Law and Economics.

Dominik Ochs is the founder and Managing Director of the communications agency, Grüne Neun, based in Stuttgart, Germany. As an expert in sustainability, he supports companies and organisations on sustainability management and sustainability communication. He is an ambassador of the Green Music Initiative and is committed to the promotion of a climate-friendly music and entertainment industry. The aim of the initiative is to reduce CO2 emissions throughout the supply chain and lifecycle of music-related events.

Eric Ben-Harrous joined Kenes in 2005, bringing more than 12 years of tourism and events experience to the team. Eric’s expertise includes sales, package development, registration and accommodation management, purchasing, and corporate event management. Eric has built a solid understanding of the intricate correlations in the industry, which are now helping him establish new event brands and help companies grow through successful event execution. Eric holds a degree in Tourism, Economics and Social Sciences.

James Latham is a Media Consultant, Videographer, and Commentator within the business events sector. James is a Politics graduate of Loughborough University and the 2015 recipient of the Joint Meetings Industry Council (JMIC) Power & Profile Award for his contribution to the re-positioning of the industry as a catalyst for economic growth beyond tourism. James builds platforms and communications to connect business events with the knowledge and creative society. He is currently developing a JMIC-endorsed business events industry campaign, The Iceberg, to support investment from both public and private sectors.

John Martinez has over 30 years of experience in the events industry as a PCO and Technology Specialist. He spent the first 14 years of his career as a PCO with Congrex, before starting Shocklogic in 1997. In addition to serving as an ICCA member for 26 years, he has also been on the ICCA Board of Directors, and a technology faculty member for the IAPCO seminars for 10 years. John has led a number of industry think tanks, and has been a speaker at renowned industry events worldwide, including IMEX, The Meetings Show and IBTM World. John was also selected as one of “The Top 100 Movers and Shakers in Events” in 2016.

Julian Jost is the co-founder of Spacebase, the first global peer-to-peer marketplace for workshop and meeting spaces. The company helps customers book attractive and unique meeting spaces all over Europe. Before launching Spacebase, he worked as a strategy consultant with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. As an MBA graduate from the University of Oxford, Julian is using his experience in business development and project management to help organisers identify the right location and the right surroundings to create more flexible, more efficient, and more creative meetings, workshops, and events.

With a heightened sense for developments and trends, Johanna Fischer has been setting the pace in communication and marketing in the meetings industry for the past 20+ years. In recent years, tmf dialogue has developed a new principle of designing content-creating marketing and sales activities, and has merged relevant content into sales campaigns, paired with strong influencer marketing aspects.  tmf’s own communication network and database supports targeted and sustainable content marketing solutions for the global meetings industry.


Laurent Fuchs has been developing and managing several business projects in the media, hospitality travel and events sectors over the last 20 years. Since 2014, he has been managing UNICEO, the United Network of International Corporate Events Organisers.

Mary Kirillova is a member of the board of directors of Baltiski Aljans OU and has organised dozens of events in Russia, Europe and the Baltic States. Her clients include companies like Gazprom, Lukoil, the Government of St. Petersburg, the Russian Federal Notary Chamber, St. Petersburg State University, PracticePanther Law, Sberbank, Deloitte, Audi Motors etc. Mary is one of the founders of the Baltic Events News blog and the magazine, Theatrical City. In 2016, she launched the first job site for event organisers,, and the first Baltic For Events Forum, organised for event agencies and customers in the Baltic States. She is often invited as a speaker and as a jury member at different European events.

Over the past 22 years, Monica Mantuano has been responsible for marketing in several major Hungarian corporations, such as Velux and the Boston Consulting Group. She is currently the Marketing Manager at Hewlett-Packard Hungary and Vice President for UNICEO in Hungary.

For the past 30 years, Nadine Vienne has been working in marketing training and events departments in the banking, insurance and automotive industries. Since 2005, she has been working at Nissan Europe where she was first in charge of Sales Methods and Training, and if now managing Corporate Events.

Rob Davidson is the Director of MICE Knowledge and a leading industry specialist in Europe. Rob’s main areas of expertise are conferences and business travel, and he has written extensively on these topics over the last fifteen years. In addition to writing books, he is a regular contributor to the professional business travel and tourism press, including Conference News. He is frequently invited to speak at international conferences on themes linked to business tourism. Since 2002, Rob has been employed on a consultancy basis as an Industry Analyst by Reed Travel Exhibitions, for whom he carries out ongoing research. At IBTM World in Barcelona each year, he launches his annual report, Trends Watch, which focuses on trends in the meetings and business travel industry worldwide.

Since 1999, Rudolf Sommer has been responsible for the positioning of new EnBW corporate brands on national and international communication platforms, and has managed customer events and sales promotions. Internationally renowned awards like the if-Design Award, a dp3d, die goldene Flamme, a silver EVA in silver, and a nomination for the German Design Award confirm the success of his new approach to 3D-brand communication in a no-interest market-segment for electricity and energy services.

A former opera singer, Susan Heaton Wright uses her experience, knowledge and expertise as a performer to empower individuals and teams to make an impact with their voices and physical presence. Susan is a regular speaker at business groups, including the Institute of Directors and Chamber of Commerce, and at conferences and universities, where she is often invited as a guest lecturer. She has appeared on BBC 2’s Working Lunch and BBC radio shows, as well as podcasts in the USA and Australia. Additionally, she contributes regularly to professional and national publications on speaking performance and skills. She was a regular BBC radio commentator on The Voice during the recent General Election. Her blog Superstar Communicator was a finalist in the 2015 UK Blog Awards and her podcast of the same name is also gaining popularity. Susan is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, The Incorporated Society of Musicians and Royal Geographical Society.

Timo Heinaro,  CEO and  Partner of Fincentive, is a forerunner in experiential marketing, extraordinary participative events and travel programmes, teambuilding activities, and full service incentive house operations in Finland. Timo was nominated as the Academic Entrepreneur of the Year in 1993, was the first SITE Crystal Award Winner in Northern Europe, the SITE Finland Chapter Member of the Year in 2009 and a SITE Crystal Award Jury Member in 2014 and 2015. Timo was also chosen to be the first CONVENE Ambassador. In 2014, his company joined the world’s leading teambuilding network, Catalyst Global.
