This year, Amber tours became the first company in Lithuania to be recognised through the Travelife Partner Sustainability Award. The award reflects the long-term effort and leading position Amber Tours has taken in the areas of sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
The award reflects Amber Toursa�� compliance with over 100 criteria pertaining to things like operator office management, product range, international business partners and customer information.
Travelife is a certification system dedicated to achieving sustainable practices within the tourism industry. It provides companies with realistic sustainability goals, tools and solutions to implement positive change within their businesses and throughout their supply chains.
The Travelife standard covers numerous CSR themes, including environment, biodiversity, human rights and labour relations a�� and is formally recognised as complying fully with the UN-supported Global Sustainable Tourism Criteria.

Established with the support of the European Commission, Travelife is the leading international sustainability certification body for the travel sector. Over 35 national travel associations are promoting the scheme, which is managed by the British Travel Association and the ECEAT, a Dutch not-for-profit. These and other associations around the world are now working hand-in-hand to establish more sustainable operations.
