With the results of our most recent CONVENE survey in, the facts and figures we’ve collected suggest that our focus on quality keeps moving the event in the right direction.
The survey revealed that 99% of CONVENE 2017 participants (including Hosted Buyers, Exhibitors and Visitors) were satisfied with the event. 67% of Exhibitors secured direct business requests during the event. CONVENE 2017 saw a total of 87 Exhibitors from 12 different countries, who – outside all of the networking opportunities they had access to – each took part in an average of 42 pre-scheduled appointments. Almost 3,600 pre-schedule appointments were held over the course of the two-day event.
Complementing the stats compiled through the survey is the feedback many CONVENE participants shared following the event. Dr Henri Roger Lijnen, Executive Director at the International Society for Fibrinolysis and Proteolysis said, “At CONVENE you could feel that everyone who is part of the event is really motivated and enthusiastic about bringing people to their region.”
Martin Ellis, Managing Director at Team Umbrella Ltd shared in this enthusiasm, exclaiming, “Simply the best! This is how all trade shows should be – top quality in every way.”
Reflecting on the survey results and participant feedback, Jolanta Beniulienė, Director of CONVENE and the Head of Vilnius Convention Bureau, stated, “We are very pleased to see that, once again, our event was well-received. We have a winning formula, but moving forward, we still plan on having CONVENE offer more in terms of quality. Quality of communication, quality of the Hosted Buyer’s Programme, quality Suppliers, a quality Education Programme, and a quality organising process. These are the 5 big Qs we are committed to that will help us make CONVENE 2018 an even better event.”
Organised by the Vilnius Convention Bureau, CONVENE is the premier event for the Baltic Sea Region meetings industry, taking place on 14-15 February 2018 at the Litexpo Exhibition and Congress Centre in Vilnius, Lithuania.
