The National Library of Lithuania will be opening its doors to Hosted Buyers Welcome Evening on Tuesday 11 February. Located in the center of Vilnius, next to the Parliament of Lithuania, the library possesses one of the largest number of old book collections in the country and has a huge importance for national cultural and social heritage of the nation. Originally founded in 1919, the venue underwent an extensive reconstruction project and now it features a spectacular lobby with black marble pillars and a stained-glass installation in the foyer, as well as 400 individual workstations and innovative spaces for non-traditional projects, events and expositions.
On the first evening of CONVENE, Wednesday 12 February, Hosted Buyers, Exhibitors, Suppliers and Partners are invited to meet for an elegant yet informal Networking Dinner hosted by Go Vilnius. Returning to the heart of the city, the Old Town Hall has been chosen as the backdrop for this evening. The conceptual event will ensure unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
In response to delegates wanting a more in-depth experience of Vilnius, CONVENE’s organisers have also prepared an interactive treasure-hunt on the afternoon of day two. Hosted Buyers are invited to take part in this tailored one-and-a-half-hour activity, which will take place in the heart of Vilnius Old Town and include stops at cosy restaurants and Partner hotels. The game will be followed by an informal Farewell dinner at the restaurant Bizarre.
