The 5-star Kempinski Hotel Cathedral Square in Vilnius has been renamed to Grand Hotel Kempinski Vilnius. The name change is aimed at better reflecting the hotel’s exclusive luxury and services, and positioning it within the international market.
The change was initiated by Kempinski Hotels, the luxury hotel group’s management company. This was due to the fact that, since its launch in 2012, Grand Hotel Kempinski Vilnius has been ranked among the best in the entire Kempinski group. The hotel is located in a historic, superbly renovated and magnificent building at Cathedral Square, the heart of the Lithuanian capital. Its exclusivity is attested by its top-class services and standards as well as guest ratings and survey results.
The Grand Hotel status is a significant recognition also within the Kempinski group as only seven out of its seventy-six hotels have this title. One of them is now the hotel in Vilnius.
Together with the name change, the hotel also recently announced the opening of its brand-new Opera Boardroom, which is perfectly suited for a private event or high-level executive meeting. This 33 sq. m boardroom offers a flat-screen TV, and can accommodate up to 12 meeting attendees around the large boardroom-style polished wooden table with power strips and wireless phone-charging connections. The new boardroom joins the hotel’s six other multifunctional meeting rooms, the largest of which can accommodate up to 200 delegates.
