Each year, CONVENE offers an engaging Education Programme that treats the hottest topics surrounding the meetings and events industry. It’s a great platform for sharing best practices and insights from some of the industry’s top professionals.
This year, the programme will be extended to include the CONVENE Professional Academy, a three-hour learning workshop dedicated specifically to Suppliers to help make their subsequent meetings with Hosted Buyers as effective and fruitful as possible. The Professional Academy will take place on 12 February, a day before the official opening of CONVENE, at LITEXPO’s Hall 1 from 14:00-17:00.
The Academy will focus on two main topics: the first focuses on how to penetrate the huge outbound UK meetings market and understand what UK planners are looking for; and the second revolves around preparing for the major changes facing the meetings and events industry, not only in terms of gross economic impact, but also the new generations, technology, AI, robotics, communication, travel issues, marketing developments, big data and more.
It all promises to be a valuable experience. The Academy has been conveniently scheduled to take place just before Exhibitors and Suppliers prepare their stands in advance of the show. The full Education Programme, which features great new speakers, will be revealed shortly, so stay tuned.
